THE TRAGICAL HISTORY OF DOCTOR FAUSTUS
Marlowe’s classic tells the story of a man who sells his soul to the devil in exchange for enlightenment. A ‘Faustian bargain,’ or a deal with the devil, comes from the legend of Faust. Faustus is an intimate accounting of a disgruntled professor who trades his soul to the devil in exchange for 20-some-odd years of pleasure. T.J. Paris directs A.J. Irons and Austin Reynolds in the lead roles. Boulevard principal Andy Goode adapted the script - “It’s the first Elizabethan classic ever done for an adults-only audience,” he said. “I had no idea there were so many hotties in hell. He’s damned, but he’s damned hot!”
